Which towns does Bumblebee actually cover?

Harpenden is home. We also work Batford, Southdown, Redbourn, Wheathampstead, St Albans, Sandridge, Hemel Hempstead, Markyate, Flamstead, Luton, Kimpton, Kinsbourne Green, Gustard Wood, Marshalls Heath and Hatching Green. AL5 is the centre. If your street is a mile beyond that list, ring us with the postcode and we will say yes or no before anyone sets off.

Do you keep garage hours?

The number is answered around the clock. Night jobs are for genuine roadside trouble and a battery that died before work, not for browsing brands. If you can wait until morning for a driveway swap, say so — we will book a civilised slot.

How do I get a price?

Call 020 8051 5448 or send a WhatsApp to the same number. We need a rough location, the vehicle, and what has gone wrong. You get a figure before we roll. No visit fee surprise after the work is done.

Will you fit any brand of tyre?

We source what suits the car and what you are willing to spend. Name a preference if you have one. If that exact wall is not on the van we will tell you the nearest equivalent rather than pretend.

I am on a Harpenden close — where should I wait?

Stay with the vehicle if it is safe. Hazard lights on. If you are blocking a narrow drive, move only as far as you can without driving on a ruined tyre. For the M1 slips and the A1081, tell us the nearest junction or landmark so we are not hunting the wrong entrance.

Can I pay when you finish?

Yes. Card is normal. Confirm the method when you book so the fitter is not stuck with a cash-only assumption.

Is a driveway fitting a proper job?

Wheels come off with the right kit, nuts go back to spec torque, and we will refuse a repair that would not hold. If the damage needs a workshop press or the wheel is cracked, we say so instead of guessing.

Are you a national helpline?

No. Bumblebee Mobile Tyres is a Harpenden outfit. You are speaking to people who drive these streets, not a call centre reading a script for the whole of the South East.
