Short version: we take a name, a number and the whereabouts of a vehicle, we use them to turn up, and we do not do anything else with them. The rest of this page spells that out.

Who this page is for

Anyone who looks at bumblebeemobiletyres.co.uk, rings 020 8051 5448, sends a WhatsApp message to that same number, or writes to help@bumblebeemobiletyres.co.uk.

What you hand over when you ring

Your name, a number we can call back on, where the vehicle is, what it is, and what has gone wrong with it. An email address if you choose to send one. Nothing beyond that is asked for, because nothing beyond that is needed to load a van and drive to you.

Where it goes next

The job gets written down — who rang, where the vehicle is, what it needs — because the driver needs an address and because there has to be a record if the work is ever queried later. A WhatsApp conversation stays in WhatsApp, where the phone number and the messages are visible to whoever is answering that day. Email sits in the mailbox. The phone company keeps its own record of calls, as phone companies do; that one is theirs rather than ours.

Counting visits, not people

The website is served by a hosting platform, and the page counter built into that platform is switched on. It sets no cookies, it does not follow anybody from site to site, and what comes back to us is a tally of pages and rough sources rather than a list of visitors. There are no advertising pixels on any page here.

Paying

Card payments are handled by a card processor, and the card details themselves go to them and not to us. We never see or keep a full card number.

How long any of it is kept

A job record lasts while the work is live, and then for as long as the accounts and any argument about the work might need it — a few years, in practice. After that it goes.

Having it corrected or deleted

Write to help@bumblebeemobiletyres.co.uk and ask what is held, ask for something to be put right, or ask for it to be deleted. Where there is no accounting reason to keep it, it is deleted. No charge and no form to fill in.

If you think we have got it wrong

Tell us first and we will try to sort it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator for this, at ico.org.uk.
