AL3 — Redbourn, Markyate, Flamstead and the top end of St Albans
Redbourn is a few minutes up the old road from us, which makes AL3 about as familiar as our own street. Markyate and Flamstead sit further along it, close enough to the motorway that we get the fast-lane damage as well as the village stuff.
Then the district drops into St Albans proper — Bernards Heath, New Greens, St Michael's — where it's all parked cars and awkward angles.
