Round here — MK18
MK18 — Buckingham, Winslow and the Claydon villages
MK18 is the far west corner of everything we do and it's a genuine expedition from Harpenden. We say that up front, because there's no sense pretending otherwise when you're waiting.
It's a district of small places spread thin — Buckingham and Winslow, then Steeple Claydon, Botolph Claydon, Padbury, Tingewick and a dozen more. Farm traffic on every road and hedge cuttings on most of them.
What we get called out for round here
- Blackthorn and hawthorn through the tread after hedge cutting on the Claydon lanes
- Mud and flint dragged onto the road by farm traffic near Padbury and Gawcott
- Kerbed wheels in Buckingham's narrow town parking
- A flat a long way from home, with students and visitors round Stowe and the University of Buckingham
