HP23 — Tring, the reservoirs and the hill villages
Tring's a decent stretch from us, right out at our far edge, but it's a district that generates real tyre trouble so we know it better than the distance suggests.
The reservoir parking is gravel and pothole, the lanes to Hastoe and Wigginton are steep and skinny, and Tring Station sits well outside the town, so people leave a car there all day and come back to a problem.

- Punctures picked up on the rough parking at Tring Reservoirs
- Blackthorn through the tread after hedge cutting on the lanes to Cholesbury and Buckland Common
- Wheels scuffed on the tight climb up to Wigginton and Hastoe
- A flat waiting at Tring Station after a full day away from the car
