Round here — HP4
HP4 — Berkhamsted, Northchurch and the Ashridge lanes
Berkhamsted is a run rather than a hop from Harpenden, so we'll tell you straight when we can set off instead of guessing at it. Once we're there we're there for as long as the job takes.
The town itself is all parallel parking on a long high street. Climb out of it towards Ashridge, Ringshall or Little Gaddesden and the road surface changes completely — flint, sunken edges, and a hedge trimmer's leftovers in autumn.
What we get called out for round here
- Kerbed wheels from parallel parking along the Berkhamsted high street
- Flint cuts picked up on the Ashridge Estate lanes
- Punctures on the steep pull up towards Ringshall and Dagnall
- A commuter's flat found in the parking at Berkhamsted Station
