Round here — WD4
WD4 — Kings Langley, Chipperfield and Hunton Bridge
WD4 is a small one, and the driving in it splits neatly. There's the fast dual carriageway traffic near Hunton Bridge, and then there's Bucks Hill, which is about a car and a half wide with a bank on either side.
Kings Langley itself is somewhere in between — a high street that's busier than it looks and a station car park that fills before eight.
What we get called out for round here
- Sudden deflations on the fast stretch by Hunton Bridge, where there's nowhere sensible to stop
- Wheels clipped on the banked lanes round Bucks Hill
- A flat found at Kings Langley Station after the last train back
- Punctures from the rough edges of the common parking at Chipperfield
