MK17 — Woburn, the Brickhills and the villages beyond
Woburn and the Brickhills are lovely to drive and hard on tyres. Sand and gravel wash off the woodland banks onto the road, the lanes are cambered steeply, and there's a stone kerb outside every other house in the village.
Further out — Mursley, Swanbourne, Great Horwood, Drayton Parslow — it flattens into long straight village roads where people get up to speed and meet a pothole they can't avoid.
