Round here — SG5

SG5 — Hitchin, Pirton, Stotfold and the hill villages

Hitchin has old streets, awkward angles and a station that fills up early, so plenty of our SG5 work is a car that can't be moved and a driver who needs it back by evening.

Around it, Pirton, Hexton and Pegsdon sit under the hills on lanes that are narrow, steep in places and littered with flint. Stotfold and Fairfield at the other end are flatter and faster, with different damage entirely.

What we get called out for round here

  • Flats found in Hitchin's town parking or by the station after a day in London
  • Flint cuts on the steep lanes round Pegsdon, Hexton and Great Offley
  • Sidewalls kerbed on the narrow bends through Pirton and Ickleford
  • Debris punctures on the faster roads near Stotfold and Astwick
