SG17 — Shefford, Meppershall and the Chicksands lanes
Shefford is the middle of SG17 and most of what happens here passes through it. It's a narrow-ish town centre carrying traffic that would rather be doing fifty, which is hard on kerbs and on the cars parked against them.
Behind it, Campton, Chicksands and Meppershall are quieter, with lanes that go soft at the edges after a wet spell.
