LU1 — Bury Park, Farley Hill and up to Caddington
Luton is close enough to us that LU1 is an ordinary day's work. The terraced streets round Bury Park and Dallow are permit-parked bumper to bumper, and a wheel change in that is a job for someone who does it every day.
Climb south out of it and you're in Caddington, Slip End and Aley Green inside five minutes — completely different driving, completely different damage.

- Rims chewed up by the high kerbs on the permit streets round Bury Park and Dallow
- Flats found at Luton Station and Luton Airport Parkway after a few days away
- Punctures from the loose stuff on the lanes between Slip End and Pepperstock
- Cars sitting on a flat in the Stockwood Park parking, usually a slow leak that finally gave in
