Round here — LU3
LU3 — Limbury, Sundon Park and the climb up to Streatley
Most LU3 jobs start on a driveway. Limbury, Biscot, Bramingham, Marsh Farm — houses with two cars and one of them out of action, usually noticed at the worst possible moment.
Then there's the top end. Streatley and the Sundon villages are up on the chalk, where the lane edges crumble and the potholes come back every winter no matter what gets poured into them.
What we get called out for round here
- Pothole-split sidewalls on the lanes up to Lower Sundon and Upper Sundon
- Kerbing on the tight corners round Marsh Farm and Sundon Park
- Nails through the tread on the estate roads at Limbury and Biscot
- Tyres flat on the drive after a frost, on cars parked up for a few days
