Round here — LU2
LU2 — Stopsley, Wigmore and the villages behind the airport
LU2 is a big mixed one. On one side you've got London Luton Airport with its ramps, kerbs and drop-off lanes, and every taxi and holiday car that uses them.
On the other side, ten minutes away, are Lilley, Cockernhoe, Tea Green and Chiltern Green — proper narrow lanes with grass up the middle in places. Both ends ring us for completely different reasons.
What we get called out for round here
- Alloys kerbed on the airport approach ramps and multi-storey turns
- Cars found flat in long-stay parking after a week abroad
- Estate-road punctures round Stopsley, Round Green and Wigmore
- Verge and flint damage on the lanes towards Lilley and Wandon End
