Round here — LU5
LU5 — Houghton Regis, Toddington and the motorway edge
Houghton Regis has grown a lot, and new estates mean new kerbs, tight turning heads and a steady trickle of scuffed wheels while everyone gets used to them.
North of it, Toddington and Harlington are older and quieter, but they sit right on the motorway. Anything shed by a lorry ends up in a car tyre a mile later, and Toddington Services sees more of that than anywhere else round here.
What we get called out for round here
- Debris punctures around Toddington Services and the slip roads either side
- Van tyres cut on the Woodside Industrial Estate roads
- New-estate kerbing round Bidwell and the edges of Houghton Regis
- Flints and pothole damage on the lanes through Chalgrave and Fancott
